The 2024 vintage enjoyed a long, slow ripening period, with grapes harvested unusually late in mid-November from Mason’s Point and Crows Lane vineyards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBack at the winery in East Sussex, the grapes were fully destemmed and gently extracted to preserve the character of the fruit. One-third of the wine was matured in new French oak barriques, while the remaining two-thirds spent time in a large oak foudre from the renowned Tonnellerie Rousseau in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy.
