Exotic, intense Malbec from the Calchaquí Valley in Argentina, brimming with dark berries and chocolate and scented with red-pepper spice and tobacco.

Series Fincas Notables is a Single Vineyard range crafted to deliver authentic wines from the Calchaqui Valley. Harvest is carried out manually early in the morning, selecting the best rows, with the greatest concentration, for the parcel.
Upon arrival at the winery, a second selection takes place by hand. Pre-fermentation maceration occurs at 5°C in French oak vats, followed by alcoholic fermentation between 26°C-30°C initiated using indigenous and selected yeasts.
A short post-fermentation maceration process then takes place. Malolactic fermentation occurs in new French oak barrels where the wine is aged for 15 months. The wine is bottled with light filtration and aged for an extra 6 months before release.

Delicious with slow-cooked beef empanadas, slow-cooked beef ribs, and pork belly, not forgetting the classic pairing of prime steak with a peppercorn sauce.
