A rich and structured style of Pinot Nero with black-fruited, spicy, and complex aromas. The ripe wild plum and bramble fruit are offset by lively acidity and firm, youthful tannins. Excellent concentration and structure with a long and spicy finish.

The Pinot Noir vines are organically grown in a combination of chalk, clay, and silt soils on the rolling hills of Oltrepo Pavese. They are Guyot-trained at approximately 250m altitudes, south/south-east facing. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo careful selection.
The grapes are macerated on skins for 8-10 days, then undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is bottled in spring.
