Inshriach Distillery – Aviemore
Master distiller and owner Walter Micklethwait first came to fame in 2015 after winning Channel 4’s Shed of the Year, tremendous! Now he has utilised the grounds of Inshriach Estate for the inspiration for his gin. Nestled down by the River Spey in the foothills of the Cairngorms, the use of Rose-hips and the Spey's water create truly inspiring modern-day classics
Made using locally foraged juniper berries, juniper shoots and rosehip combined with a few further afield classic gin botanicals Walter provides his take on a classic London dry gin. Here he has just turned up the volume from Inshriach Original as well as a few other tweaks. What a banger.
Garnish with a slice of fresh lime and lots of ice.
