The altitude and cooler mountain climate are ideal for Chardonnay, helping the grapes retain plenty of freshness while developing lovely ripe fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMade from \u003cstrong\u003e100% Chardonnay\u003c\/strong\u003e, the grapes are picked by hand, carefully selected and gently pressed. The wine is fermented in oak barriques before spending six months maturing in barrel, followed by a further six months resting in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is a Chardonnay with plenty going on. There's fresh \u003cstrong\u003elemon zest and crisp apple\u003c\/strong\u003e on the nose, followed by ripe apricot, peach and melon on the palate.
