Tasting Note: Bright, juicy cherry and blackberry fruit sings from the glass. The palate is fresh and youthful with red cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry notes and a hint of balsamic.
Food Matching: A good match to grilled red meats, barbeques and stews.
Vineyard: In the mild Mediterranean climate, the vines are trained 80% on wire and 20% bush vine.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested from mid-August until October partly by machine and partly by hand to ensure good selection. Controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats over a period of 20 days.
