Hello Ballater

Have you seen the news?

Ever since our first day of trade in Banchory, on the 29th of November 2019 we’ve kept evolving. We’d only been open for 4 months before the world went into to lock down - what happened? We evolved!

A couple of bags of tatties delivered in the back of a friends dads truck became full fruit and veg boxes, which then became 3 course ‘Dine at Home’ boxes delivered to all corners of the country! We didn’t see that coming but we moved quickly and adapted.

Our first ever tasting event for the shop was virtual. These grew arms and legs in a shocking covid move and at times we could have up to 400 people across the country sharing a glass of wine whilst locked up at home. These evolved and now are the tastings we have in store, if only we had a dedicated space for these...

We’ve been looking for some time for a second shop, something like our first, but with space to allow us to evolve into where we would like to be going. Finally, we’ve found that shop in the lovely town of Ballater!

Shop plus tasting room - yes, a proper sit down tasting room! We don’t want to share too many of the plans yet, but to kick things off we’ve had to go to planning for a slight change to the premises and we would absolutely love if you could put a note of support in for us.

Who will do what I hear you cry...?!?! Where will Mungo be?! Where will Guy be?!? Soon you’ll be asking when do I get to meet Nick! Who’s Nick?!? All to be revealed!

We couldn’t of got this far without you all, so thank you! We’ve got an exciting road ahead.

Hopefully the plans get approved and then the fun starts! We’ve got a bit of work to do and we can’t wait to welcome you once we’re done!
