Dailuaine 16 Year Old Single Cask | Little Brown Dog

A super interesting single-refill bourbon hogshead. When Little Brown Dog were going through the warehouse samples planning for this year they thought they had mislabeled the sample, so they went back into the warehouse to retake it. This was peaty, Dailuaine isn't supposed to be peaty! A look at the other end of the cask and a check of the documents, ex Islay hogshead. A very pleasant surprise and one of the things we love about single-cask whisky, the wee curiosities, surprises, and stories. The label is made to look like the old Dailuaine locomotive on the Speyside line.
