Meikle Toir - Turbo 2025

Nose: Manuka honey, toasted caramel and smoked cedarwood, with butterscotch, treacle tart and spiced orange peel.

Taste: Heather honey, roasted hazelnuts and baking spices, followed by crystalised ginger, mocha and molasses, with smouldering oak, dark chocolate and warmed plum jam on the finish.

In Glenallachie's words;

Taking the "heart of the heart" of our distillate - the spirit cut which contains the highest phenol content - "The Turbo" entails an amplified smoky identity.

With the lengthy 160-hour fermentation period, the whisky boasts a full-bodied character that stands up well to the sweet smoke delivered by our mainland peat from St. Fergus.

The 2025 Release combines five American virgin oak casks with four Oloroso hogsheads. The result is a multifaceted whisky with a powerful punch of peat, hitting a hefty 72PPM. It's proudly presented without added colouring and non-chill filtered.
