Christian Drouin Calvados 2018 – Sauternes Cask LBD
The latest iteration of Little Brown Dog's Calvados bottling "Le Petit Chien Brun" comes in two variations - a whisky cask and a Sauternes cask. This one was filled into a Sauternes cask in 2018 and bottled in April 2025. The famous desert wine cask provides a soft, silky palate with incredible texture, a magnificent introduction to how good Pays D’Auge Calvados can be. Natural colour, non-chill filtered and limited to just 213 bottles.
The apple blossom adorning the label celebrates the many varieties of apples grown to produce the complex cider for distillation.

Nose: 1990s health food shop, stewed apple, cinnamon
Palate: Mirabelle, sugar coated fennel seeds, golden syrup
Finish: Candied peel, cinnamon buns
