80/- Shilling | Wasted Degrees Brewing
80/- Shilling – Wasted Degrees Brewing
A celebration of traditional Scottish brewing, 80/- Shilling from Wasted Degrees Brewing is a rich, malt-forward Scottish ale inspired by the classic "heavy" and export ales that have been enjoyed across Scotland for generations.
Deep copper in colour with a smooth malt profile, this characterful beer delivers notes of caramel, biscuit malt, toffee and subtle sweetness balanced by a gentle bitterness. Wasted Degrees describe it as "the Scottish equivalent of a best bitter", creating a wonderfully drinkable beer packed with traditional flavour.
Brewed in Perthshire by Wasted Degrees Brewing, this modern take on a Scottish classic showcases why the 80/- style remains one of Scotland's most beloved beer traditions. Expect rich malt character, smooth drinkability and a satisfying finish that pairs perfectly with hearty Scottish food.
