Swannay Brewery’s Orkney IPA is one of the brewery’s best-known beers. Brewed on Orkney’s west mainland, this 4.8% ABV UK IPA delivers plenty of hop character while remaining balanced and highly drinkable.

Brewed with Maris Otter malt and hopped with Citra and Centennial, it offers fresh citrus and aromatic hop notes over a traditional British malt base.

Unfiltered, unfined and unpasteurised, Orkney IPA is made to retain maximum flavour and may pour with a slight natural haze.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Golden to amber with a naturally slight haze.

Aroma: Fresh citrus, grapefruit and aromatic hops with a subtle malt character.

Palate: Crisp and hop-forward, with citrus-led flavours balanced by a rounded Maris Otter malt backbone.

Finish: Refreshing, gently bitter and satisfyingly moreish.
