About Frangelico

Produced in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, Frangelico takes inspiration from a centuries-old tradition of Italian liqueur making.

According to legend, its origins can be traced back more than 300 years to Christian monks living in the hills of Piedmont, who used local ingredients, including wild hazelnuts, to create distinctive spirits and liqueurs.

Frangelico is made using Italian hazelnuts, which are roasted, crushed and infused before distillation. The resulting hazelnut distillate is blended with cocoa, vanilla and coffee extracts to create its signature flavour.
