Strathmill 2015 11 Year Old – Little Brown Dog Spirits

A beautifully rounded 11 Year Old Strathmill Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Little Brown Dog Spirits, matured in an American oak Cream Sherry hogshead.

Distilled on 7th April 2015 and bottled on 21st July 2026, this single cask was released at its natural 54.6% ABV cask strength, with an outturn of only 286 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Old oak furniture, rowan jelly and Grand Marnier.

Palate: Custard doughnut, pink grapefruit and port glaze.

Finish: Sancerre, pear soda and mace.

Cream Sherry Matured Strathmill

Rather than going for an overpowering sherry style, Little Brown Dog selected this cask for its wonderfully rounded and integrated character.

The American oak Cream Sherry hogshead provides a subtler style of sherry maturation, complementing Strathmill's spirit rather than overwhelming it.

Bottled at cask strength with natural colour and without chill filtration.
