The Broody Hen blended scotch whisky takes its name from a peculiar tradition from the 17th century. In order to avoid high taxation, distillers would go to great lengths to hide their produce. Casks were smuggling in funeral corteges, whilst bottles find their way into the nests of broody hens.

Tasting Notes

Nose-

Gentle aroma of vanilla toffe and mum's apple pie, sprinkled with brown sugar.

Palate-

Extremely smooth texture that's sweet to taste.

Finish-

Finishing with kitchen spices and a hunt of peat-smoke.
