Tasting Notes

Impressively tasty alcohol-free Riesling, with flavours of citrus and rhubarb and an aromatic, overarching squirt of lime. 

Food Matching: EINS-ZWEI-ZERO Sparkling is highly recommended to pair with seafood and light salads. A perfect aperitif on its own.  

Bottle Information

Vineyard: The vineyard is located in the middle of Rheinhessen. The vines are trellised with the Guyot system and the canopy management is Leitz's own structure. Sustainable farming practice is employed including leaf removal.  

Vinification: To remove the alcohol from the wine, a gentle vacuum distillation has been used in order to preserve the natural Riesling flavors. This modern technique has been chosen because it allows us to extract the alcohol under extremely low pressure and temperature (around 30°C). No flavors will be lost through the treatment of the wine through the de-alcoholization process.
