L'Enfant Terrible Côtes du Rhône Blanc
France - 2018
Tasting Note: 'Terrible Child' embodies the rebellious spirit of a new wave of passionate winemakers in the Rhone Valley. Wine with a pale gold colour and brilliant reflections. The aromas of flowers and white fruits blend perfectly with the vivacity and freshness of this beautiful, tender wine.
Food Matching: A really nice pair for pork chops with braised apples and other warming Autumnal comfort foods.
Vineyard: The vineyard is located in the south-east of France on the right bank of the Rhone. Parcel selections conducted on vineyards conducted partly in plains on sandy soil, and partly in hillsides on clay-limestone soil and more or less stony.
Vinification: Vines are destemmed, fermented at cold maceration to keep freshness in stainless steel vats. Ageing in thermoregulated stainless steel vats for 8 months.
Awards and Press News: Silver Medal, Decanter World Wine Awards 2019
