Nose: Ripe red fruit, spices, and balsamic notes on the nose
Taste: On the palate, it is structured and dominated by ripe tannins and great intensity and gustatory persistence
Production - A short pre-fermentation maceration of the de-stemmed grapes with the temperature being held between 12 and 14 degrees to extract their characteristic aromas followed by fermentation of 15/20 days at a controlled temperature of 24-26 degrees c. The wine is then separated from the skins to start the malolactic fermentation. Finally, the wine ages for about 6 months in large barrels.
