Little Brown Dog Ballindalloch 2016 – 10-Year-Old Speyside Whisky

A rare Ballindalloch, a tiny splash of Mannochmore and plenty of Little Brown Dog personality.

This outstanding 10-year-old Speyside whisky was distilled at Ballindalloch on 23 June 2016 and matured in a bourbon hogshead before being independently bottled by Little Brown Dog Spirits at 58.1% ABV.

There's one small technicality. Just 10ml of Mannochmore whisky was added to the 250-litre cask, making this officially a blended malt Scotch whisky rather than a single malt. The Ballindalloch character, however, remains firmly at the heart of the release.

Little Brown Dog had been keeping a close eye on this cask for years, waiting for the perfect balance between fresh Speyside distillate and oak maturity. The result is a wonderfully vibrant whisky with orchard fruit, gentle sweetness and exceptional character.

Only 361 bottles were produced.
