Gusbourne 2015 Late Disgorged

Citrus peel, green apple, and stone fruits alongside brioche and biscuit notes. Lemon sherbet aromas turn to a creamier lemon posset on the palate, with white peach and pear. Extended lees ageing brings notes of buttered toast and delicate spice.

After aging on lees for 78 months (6 and a half years!) it has allowed superb depth and structure in the wine.

A great wine with richer fish dishes and lighter meats. Scallops or salmon en croute, lemon, and herby roasted chicken.
