The Linkwood 1995/2026 #8 Symington’s Choice is an exceptional 30-year-old Speyside single malt selected by Andrew Symington for Signatory Vintage’s prestigious Symington’s Choice range.

Distilled on 5th June 1995 and bottled in 2026, this rare single cask Linkwood spent three decades maturing in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead before being bottled at its natural cask strength of 50.8% ABV. Limited to just 341 bottles, this is a beautifully mature sherried Speyside whisky packed with depth, elegance and complexity.

Rich layers of dark fruits, walnut, cocoa, polished oak and warming spices combine with Linkwood’s famously refined spirit character, creating a whisky that perfectly balances sherry influence with distillery character. Bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration, this is a collector-worthy release for fans of aged single malt Scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Raisins, figs, dark cherries, orange peel, walnut, polished oak, leather, cocoa and warming Oloroso spice.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied with dark dried fruits, chocolate, roasted nuts, espresso, baking spices, orange zest and mature oak. Rich yet remarkably elegant. 

Finish: Long, warming and beautifully drying with cocoa, sherry richness, nutty depth, oak spice and lingering orange peel.
