Upon receiving the keys to GlenAllachie, the Master Distiller wasted no time leaving their mark on the whisky. Employing Scottish barley, a 160-hour fermentation, and slow distillation, they crafted a rich and robust spirit complemented by notes of heather and butterscotch. The result is the GlenAllachie 18 Year Old expression, bottled at 46% ABV, nonchill filtered, and featuring its natural color.
Tasting Notes
COLOUR – Intense Chestnut.
NOSE – Layers of heather honey, toffee, and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel, and dried sultanas.
TASTE – Bursting with fruit cake, butterscotch, and wild Scottish honey, followed by layers of blackcurrant, almonds, and soft oak spice on the finish.
