Ballindalloch 2016 Vintage Release is the second official vintage release from Ballindalloch Distillery and a limited-edition UK exclusive of just 2,400 bottles.

Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025, this Speyside single malt has been created from a carefully selected combination of first-fill sherry, first-fill Bourbon and refill Bourbon casks, showcasing the rich, fruit-forward house style of this family-owned estate distillery.

The 2016 release incorporates a greater sherry influence than previous Ballindalloch releases, adding richness and depth while retaining the distillery's characteristic fresh fruit and elegant Speyside character.

Bottled at 48% ABV, this is a superb opportunity to follow the development of one of Speyside's most exciting newer distilleries. With only 2,400 bottles released for the UK market, availability is limited.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Ripe orchard and tropical fruits with mandarin, citrus, honeyed malt and touches of vanilla and dried fruit.

Palate: Rich and rounded with juicy fruit, warming spice, creamy vanilla and deeper sherry-cask notes developing alongside the sweet malt.

Finish: Lingering fruit, gentle oak and warming spice with a rich, balanced sweetness.
