Rosé L'Enfant Terrible Côtes du Rhône
France – 2021
13% ABV
Tasting Note: L’Enfant Terrible was born after a group of young Southern Rhône producers who instead of harvesting at the same time of their neighbours preferred to wait for optimum ripeness in order to produce a charming, round and generous in flavour Côtes du Rhône. Thanks to its fun presentation this wine is subject to a lot of noise and fun as label is making fun of Napoleon Bonaparte, symbol of French rebellion and stubbornness! Bright with a clear salmon coral colour. On the nose, the wine is aromatic and seductive with sour sweet candy notes. This wine is well balanced with nice freshness expression on the finish.
Food Matching: Ideal to drink as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with cold dishes or mixed salads
Vineyard: The vineyard is located in the south-east of France in the Rhone Valley. Sand and clay-limestone soil which give good acidity and fresh texture to the wine.
Vinification: Made from Grenache, this wine has been aged in stainless steel tanks to keep fruit freshness and good acidity.
